About Us

We are Bay Area Sales Incentive Compensation Professionals.

It is no secret that we learn and thrive together as a community – both personally and professionally. This organization’s mission is to bring together Incentive Compensation professionals within the San Francisco Bay Area to share challenges and experiences specific to our space. Creating communities that are like-minded and have similar interests is the best way to create a positive impact.

There are other professional networking groups geared towards compensation; however, there is no community specifically geared towards Sales Incentive Compensation professionals in the Bay Area…until now! Our challenges are unique, so we can benefit from building a community focused on everything related to Sales Incentive Compensation.

Whether it is plan design best practices, use of technology or best practices around communication with Sales Team, sharing and learning from each other can be extremely valuable. Not to mention that more and more career opportunities are developed through relationships and connections within the community.

Vision

Our vision is to create a thriving, connected and collaborative community of Sales Incentive Compensation professionals through regular face-to-face activities and events that help our members share, learn and connect with each other.

Activities

Our activities will range from small gatherings after work, to lunches, dinners and a few half day events. We will start with networking events and over time add talks and other, more structured events. Our goal is to have a meeting at least once a month in a central location for Bay Area Professionals.

We may levy a nominal membership fee and a small fee for events to cover costs. The key idea though is to keep the community costs low and run it as a non-profit organization. We will continue to grow the organization as a vendor agnostic community with members collectively deciding on agendas and events. At times we may allow service providers in our space to sponsor such events. Currently, all activities and events are planned under the guidance of our Executive Committee and co-ordinated by Anil Chouhan of Spectrum Technologies. You can reach us at outreach@basicpro.org
